DHC Skincare Influencer Luncheon
Japanese beauty brand DHC hosted an intimate influencer luncheon at Yamashiro, tasking Table Set Go with honoring Japanese tradition while introducing the brand to the American market. Partnering with JJ|LA, the team transformed the venue using DHC’s signature blue-and-white palette, washi-inspired graphics, and custom artwork from a local illustrator. A striking photo installation of thirty hand-painted paper umbrellas adorned with cherry blossoms became the event’s most-shared moment.
Guests enjoyed sushi and soba stations before participating in a traditional Chado tea ceremony overlooking the Hollywood Hills. The journey continued with personalized skincare consultations, live Kokeshi doll illustrations, and a Taiko drumming performance. Each attendee departed with a bespoke bento gift box filled with curated J-Beauty essentials — a culturally grounded and beautifully executed brand debut.
