LA Times Food Bowl Night Market

The 2019 LA Times Food Bowl Night Market brought thousands of food lovers to Grand Park for a five-night celebration of Los Angeles’ dynamic culinary scene. As part of the JJ|LA team, Abby coordinated the VIP “restaurants in residence,” featuring nightly rotating themes: Dumpling & Noodle, Fried Chicken Party, LA’s Best Burger, Taco Tribute, and All-Star BBQ.

She managed chef communications, nightly menus, signage, rental equipment, and all back-of-house logistics. For the All-Star BBQ finale, she oversaw the construction of a custom concrete pit to allow pitmasters to slow-roast a whole pig overnight. Her work ensured seamless execution and a standout guest experience throughout the festival.
